About US

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” – Benjamin Franklin

DOT Safety & Compliance

Best practice is to avoid problems in the first place, rather than trying to fix them once they arise. However, we are there for our clients regardless of the circumstance.

Owner & Director of Safety, Kevin Thompson, has over 40 years of transportation experience, owning a trucking company with his father in the 80’s and logging 2.8 million miles as a driver himself prior to entering the compliance field in 2006.

Co-owner Joey Thompson, has over 17 years experience in the insurance industry, including accident investigation, prior to opening the Searcy, AR location of Thompson DOT Safety & Compliance in 2016.

Understanding and navigating the tremendous amount of compliance regulations is no light or simple task, from  Drug & Alcohol, to Driver Qualification, to Hours of Service, and so on. Where can we turn for a truthful accurate answer? What do we do in this particular situation? I have three different answers from three different “experts?” Our team becomes your compliance partners; specialists offering peace of mind for you and your company as we assist with your DOT compliance needs. We concur with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s goal towards safer roads for everyone. We help you navigate your business through the complicated standards and regulations required.

We have offices in Memphis, TN and Searcy, AR to serve you!
